Bringing AI into industry can be a heavy lift—especially in legacy plants where aging infrastructure and outdated systems are the norm. When you’re trying to add factory automation or industrial embedded/Edge AIoT platforms on top of an existing manufacturing environment, it’s usually smartest to team up with a partner who already has the right experience, tools, and playbook to make it work.
Designed for demanding factory automation and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) deployments, DFI’s EC70A-MTH Ultra Compact Fanless System combines Intel® Core™ Ultra processor performance with a compact, rugged, fanless design—delivering reliable edge AI and real-time industrial control in space-constrained environments where durability and uptime are critical. The platform is also Intel® ESQ-qualified for Metro AI Suite devices, reinforcing its readiness for dependable, industrial-grade edge deployments.

The EC70A-MTH delivers advanced AI inference with built-in Intel® Arc™ graphics, reducing the need for large discrete GPUs. For industrial environments, fewer add-on components means lower integration complexity, fewer potential failure points, and easier thermal design—especially in deployments that require extended temperature operation, resilience in hazardous conditions, and real-time shock resistance.
DFI engineered the EC70A-MTH with mobility-focused industrial applications in mind. The system supports 5G connectivity, out-of-band (OOB) management, and shock/vibration certification, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.
To ensure dependable, low-latency control in critical environments, the platform features 3 LAN ports and 4 COM ports, supporting robust, real-time connectivity for industrial controllers, sensors, and legacy equipment integration.
