軌道產業發展已逐步踏入了AIoT的應用領域，例如自動駕駛、軌道入侵檢測和乘客行為監控，這些都需要性能強大且具備高擴充性的嵌入式工業電腦，以減少繁瑣和重複的任務，幫助軌道產品智能化，讓營運更安全、更智能、更高效，並改善使用者體驗。
某間扎根於嵌入式計算機、機器即時控制與物聯網應用超過二十五年的歐洲廠商，在歐洲、北美與日本都有營運據點。其客戶主要需要即用型模組化的解決方案，以便縮短上市時間，並使其專注於其專業領域。其中某個針對運輸產業特化的人工智慧工作站，吸引了眾多歐洲廠商競相爭取此商機，但最終仍選擇DFI兼具現成品與客製化的解決方案，迅速完成產品開發，並縮短上市時間。
## WM343 microATX壁掛式機箱，CMS310工業級主機板
因為此專案有強烈的上市時程與價格競爭，且競爭者眾，DFI直接提出既有[WM343](https://www.dfi.com/tw/product/index/242?ad=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global&edm=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global) microATX壁掛式機箱與[CMS310](https://www.dfi.com/tw/product/index/1503?ad=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global&edm=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global) microATX工業級主機板的組合，快速提出報價而捷足先登，成功通過兩階段競標的第一階段，但後面仍有艱鉅的挑戰：客製化。
DFI [CMS310](https://www.dfi.com/tw/product/index/1503?ad=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global&edm=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global)採用第十代Intel Core處理器，從10核心的Xeon到雙核心的Celeron，擁有多樣化的處理器選項，提供PCIe x16供安裝獨立顯示卡，並支援DFI專利的COM擴充模組，可連接到主板上的LPC (Low Pin Count) 界面，額外提供四組RS-232或RS-485，強化在工業電腦領域的應用彈性。
不過[WM343](https://www.dfi.com/tw/product/index/242?ad=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global&edm=edm_success-story_79-transportation_ai_station_global)壁掛式機箱一開始是為了ATM而開發，其散熱效率將難以承擔運輸產業的惡劣環境溫度。此外，客戶預設的應用環境使用12V DC，而非一般的ATX電源，而且運輸產業經常面臨電壓不穩定的狀況。
所以DFI除了增加第二個系統風扇，以解決散熱問題，並開發專屬12V DC轉ATX電源供應板，具備延遲開/關時間管理功能 (System On/Off Delay Time) 電源點火 (Power Ignition) 功能，以提供低電壓電源保護，讓作業系統有充分的時間進行開關機 (OS Protection Time)，確保此人工智慧工作站的作業系統資料完整性。除此之外，DFI也針對週邊設備，提出多樣化的選擇性，例如對人工智慧應用至關重要的獨立顯示卡。
